Luis Campos

Producer and DJ Luis Campos has launched a professional music career at the age of 14 in his childhood home Sao Paulo, Brazil, where he picked up his first set of Technics turntables. Soon he held residencies at some of the countries’ most revered clubs, including Sao Paulo’s Limelight and Victoria Pub among others. Luis’s talents were also showcased at Brazils’ most prestigious music festivals such as Skol Beats and the Love Parade attended by nearly 200,000 people.

In the late 90s, Luis was one of the three original members of Brazil’s first live electronic band, Influx. At the release of MTV’s first Amp album, Influx performed for over 30,000 people. Their track entitled “Crack” soon became an MTV favorite, gaining Influx popularity, which spread throughout Brazil, Europe, and North America.

Since 2000 Luis has played at internationally acclaimed night clubs such as Cielo, Pacha and Sullivan Room. The only three New York venues to be recently voted DJ Magazine’s Top 100 Clubs in the World.

Luis Campos is the founder of Psycheground, which currently holds a three-year-long running residency at Sullivan Room and more than 100 events.

In 2008 Luis Campos joined forces with Matyas Kelemen to form the Reality Engine band. A one of a kind dance music driven project that creates an articulate blend of original music production, synchronized videos, and holographic projections.
